Association of Priestly Perseverance, a sacerdotal association founded in 1868 at Vienna, and at first confined to that archdiocese. In 1879, chiefly through the influence of its periodical organ, "La Correspondance", it spread into other dioceses and countries, and in 1903 counted 14,919 living members, belonging to 150 dioceses in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and other countries. This organization is very similar to that of the Apostolic Union of Secular Priests 01 v.).

"All heretics wish to be styled Catholic, yet if anyone asks them where is the Catholic place of worship none would venture to point out his own."
-- Augustine of Hippo, convert, bishop, theologian, Doctor of the Church; using the early Christian consensus on the name of the Catholic Church to show how even heretics know the true church (from the article Catholic)
